📅Key dates for the 2026–27 school year

Regular registration closes about two weeks before each SAT date and about five weeks before each ACT date (late registration costs extra). Sign up at sat.org/register or act.org/the-act/registration. Your counselor can tell you if your state or school offers a free in-school test.
